Yoshiki album in 2005: Eternal Melody II

Album review/thoughts:

This album is v interesting.. Gives me a chance to see the other side of the Talented Yoshiki. Apart from his X Japan works, can take a look at his musical talent in ballads, whatsmore this album is orchestra works... He is really good in this album, the compositions done r good... The pieces r soothing, has ups & downs, plus this 'dark' feeling in the music, giving it a deep sorrow & emptiness kinda of feel.. One thing I find a pity is tt his compositions r extremely artistic, v hard to grasp what he is trying to express, so unless i figure it out in due time, i dunno can take the pieces to go choreograph dance or not... I v enthu abt this idea of using Yoshiki's music to go choreograph a dance but 1stly dunno choreograph 4 who to dance lah, 2nd oso dunno feasible or not... Like quite hard leh...

I v admire Yoshiki's talent 4 being able to be 'gang' & 'rou' in his music... He can perf 'zhi gang' & oso 'zhi rou', is like a perfect composer lor... Really like God... This is really what i call talent.. Not juz can compose songs means talented, muz haf own uniqueness & most of all be evergreen & foreva creative... It doesn't matter how long it takes to come out with a piece of work (whether dance/ songs/ music etc) as long as it really came out from ur heart, & of coz no plagiarism..

I try summarize what i feel abt this album, so far i juz listened to the CD once, so maybe listen few more times will haf diff..
Dark, Sorrow, Emptiness, Helplessness, Resurrection, Eternity, Darkness amongst brightness (oso can be interpreted as chaos amongst peace, sorrow amongst happiness etc), Awaiting, Suffering 4 long time, Loneliness, Awakened, Death( but death in the way as in eventual ending, End to everything: hatred, love, suffering, happiness, feelings, touch, thoughts, even sub-conscious)

A v nice album... (N/B: May continue this entry aft i figured out what he is trying to express in each of his works, which may take a v long time..)
